So, today is my birthday. This past year has brought about so many changes in my life. I am now a business owner, I am blessed to have more people in my life than I ever could have asked for, and my 5 and half year old daughter grows sweeter and sweeter each day (well, except for this morning… ;-))
I think it’s fair to say that my year one of being 30 was a success. What now? Linzstar Inc. is brand new. I love it. I am so excited to see where it goes. However, as a blogger, I have been so caught up in working for everyone else, that I have let my own blogs go to the wayside. Not cool. I am vowing today to let that nonsense go, and get to doing what I love to do: Be real, be real authentic, and be real cool. (just had to throw that in there…)
I would like to take this time to thank every single person in my life for making it what it is today. And I mean it when I say EVERYONE!
In this balance of life….for me it’s a family, a business, a band, and the sacred couple of hours a week I get to work out, I find that it’s easy to take things for granted. Today, tell someone close to you that you love them. Take a whole 60 seconds and hug them like you mean it! I’ve heard before, and I don’t remember where, that hugging for a mere 30 seconds can release a chemical that enhances closeness. So, do it. Do it daily.
