Years ago at a National Speakers Association meeting, I heard Jerry Wilson say something I’ve always kept in mind, a very simple mantra:

A PROFESSIONAL ALWAYS SHOWS UP!

Trust means, as you so aptly stated, doing what you said you would do – and more, doing it when you said you’d do it – perhaps earlier than that, and doing it better than they ever dreamed it could be done. But first of all – SHOW UP!
