I’ve been listening to T Harv Eker’s, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, over the past couple of weeks and one thing that has been a key thought in my head, is the concept of opportunity. Man, if you’ve not read this book, or as in my case, listened to it, I encourage you to do so. Talk about getting out of a victim mindset and taking control, this book has truly helped open my eyes to the amazing opportunities and possibilities that we have on a daily basis IF we open our eyes to it.
I have mentioned before how blessed I feel to be a part of our up and coming community. We have among us such brilliant folks who refuse to let Indianapolis be JUST a city on a map. Folks such as Tony Scelzo, Pat Coyle, Lorraine Ball and Scott McKain, just to name a few (because trust me, I could go on and on about the amazing people I have met and I will continue to contribute to any effort they have) ANYWAY, these folks who go out of their ways to create wealth and enrichment for our community should be blessed…IN HUGE ways. (I sense the tangent I COULD go on, so I’ll get to the point.)
I’m so crazy excited about Wednesday. ‘Seriously awesome opportunity’ should be what we call this day. Not only do I get the honor of hosting a Rainmakers event in Noblesville on Wednesday morning (Mo’s Irish Pub), I then get to be a part of the Rainmakers Mass Ave Lunch Launch, (which I am inviting YOU to be a part of), Here’s the cool part- The Mass Ave Lunch is actually going to be held at the Rathskeller in the Beirgarten. This will happen right before the Smaller Indiana Bigger Ideas conference at 11:30am. I think it would be a great place to grab a bite to eat before the conference (wink,wink..I’ll be there), then we’ll be heading up to hear all the amazing speakers that are lined up for the day. And THEN….wait for it…it’s the 6000th member Smaller Indiana Party back down at the Rathskeller! Seriously, could Wednesday get any better?
The point of this blog on opportunity is this: 90% of life is about showing up. Get out and support your community. Open yourself up to new ideas and new people. They may perhaps end up being some of the most important folks of your future. I hope to see all you Smoosiers out Wednesday. I am looking forward to meeting so many of you. This day is sure to be one of the most memorable. Cheers!
